Project Context

Fuentes Strategies distributes "Washington Watch," a specialized newsletter providing strategic insights to over 2,000 high-level subscribers. To maintain its position as a reliable information hub, the firm needed to transition from a static layout to a dynamic, multi-device digital communication tool.

Objective

The original newsletter lacked responsiveness, leading to a poor reading experience on mobile and tablet devices. Its outdated visual structure made complex political content difficult to scan, resulting in lower engagement from busy professionals who consume news on the go.

Solution

We developed a Mobile-First Responsive Design featuring a modular content hierarchy. By implementing a clean, single-column grid for mobile and an optimized layout for desktop, I ensured a seamless reading experience. The new design uses bold typography and strategic brand accents to highlight key headlines and calls-to-action.

Previous Design

The original newsletter relied on a rigid, non-responsive structure that failed to adapt to different screen sizes, resulting in a poor reading experience for mobile and tablet users. The cluttered layout and lack of clear visual hierarchy made it difficult for subscribers to scan through complex legislative updates, diminishing the overall impact of the firm’s strategic communications.

The Revamped Experience

The new design introduces a fully responsive, mobile-first architecture that ensures a seamless reading experience across all devices. By implementing a clean modular grid, high-contrast typography, and a clear visual hierarchy, the layout now allows for effortless scanning of complex updates while reinforcing the firm’s professional authority through a modern and cohesive aesthetic.
